Farzana Jiwani has been practicing law since 2008. She practices family and divorce law exclusively.
She is known for her positive energy and strength when dealing with family law matters. She is committed to providing clients with the highest quality of service, recognizing that separation and divorce are often very stressful events for families.
Farzana is a fully trained Collaborative Law lawyer and is a member of Collaborative Practice Toronto, the York Collaborative Practice Group and the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario. She is also an appointed board member of the Aga Khan Conciliation and Arbitration Board for Ontario, where she assists parties mediate a resolution to their matters. She is in the process of becoming a Certified Mediator and has completed extensive training in mediation. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration which she obtained from the University of Toronto.
Farzana has represented clients internationally, tackling complex financial matters, interjurisdictional and mobility issues on behalf of her clients worldwide. She has experience litigating Maher Agreements and knowledge of Sharia Law.
Farzana supports her clients with practical advice, compassion and a resolution oriented focus. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve a favorable resolution to their matter.
In her spare time, Farzana enjoys playing tennis, art and spending time with her family.
