Jaclyn Ben-ezra

Jaclyn Ben-ezra is an associate lawyer at Modern Family Law LLP. She practices exclusively in the area of family and divorce law.

Jaclyn received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. She then completed her articles at a family law litigation firm, where she continued working as an associate, until joining Modern Family Law LLP.

Jaclyn has a wealth of experience with complex family law issues and litigation. She is devoted to all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody and access, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic contracts, including separation agreements and parenting agreements.

Jaclyn is a strong advocate for her clients both inside and outside of the courtroom. She is a skilled negotiator when negotiating a resolution, and a fearless litigator when court is required. She is dedicated and supportive to her clients. She is also tirelessly committed to helping her client’s achieve their goals in the most child focused, cost effective and time efficient manner. She frequently attends continuing education courses, to best serve her clients by remaining current on the evolving state of the law.

In her free time, Jaclyn runs a social media platform which has garnered a large following as a result of her witty sense of humour, recipes and life hacks. When she is not baking cookies, she enjoys exploring different walking trails around the city.
